Sil Vous Plait Breast Cancer Awareness Fashion Show

Thanks to all SkyhiClub At DanceScape Students and Knot A Breast Dragon Boat Team for coming out to support S’il Vous Plait Breast Cancer Awareness Fashion Show!

Janet Cockburn from Janac Mastectomy Wear shares her life story as a Breast Cancer Survivor, Dragons’ Den Entrepreneur, and the inspiration behind her company from her team mates from Knot A Breast Dragon Boat Team. (3:00). She urges everyone to take regular medical check-ups and screenings.

They SkyhiClub at danceScape won so many multiple prizes! A BIG THANK YOU to students for supporting the event, not only with ticket purchases but also supporting the raffle prizes. This was the first event for S’il Vous Plait so congratulations to Yolanda Brooks, who will also be part of the Hamilton-Niagara Wedding Saviours Team.

S’il Vous Plaits presents their 1st Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Soiree that will feature Spring 2014 fashion trends. Throughout the night, the event will host amazing live Entertainment and Dj, silent auction, various vendors and lots of awareness to promote. Reception begins at 7:00 p.m. and Fashion Show starts at 8:00 p.m., Ivy Bar & Kitchen, 3330 South Service Road, Burlington, Ontario.

Please join all Breast Cancer Survivors and their supporters for a fun filled evening celebrating life, and the opportunity to bring awareness to all women on the importance of continual breast examinations. Statistics states that 65 Canadian women will be diagnosed with breast cancer a day and will affect every 9 women. That is too many beautiful women affected when we know there is something we can do today.

Event Proceeds will go to The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation and Rethink Breast Cancer. Portion of proceeds purchased directly through danceScape will also go toward the Knot A Breast Dragon Boat Team, whose team members consisting of Breast Cancer Survivors, are participating at the International Breast Cancer Dragon Boat Festival to be held Oct. 24-26 in Sarasota, FL.
